A furry face looked up at me
With eyes that stole my heart.
That lovely Irish Wolfhound
Has charmed me from the start.
So noble and reliable,
Intelligent and true,
Always there to listen,
And to turn my gray skies blue.
With a heart of purest gold,
Devoted to the end,
I can’t imagine life without
My Wolfhound–my best friend.
